You'd be surprised how the required accessories add up for a nice AR. I certainly was.

Colt 6940 for about $1500.00 then add Magpul CTR Stock ($79.95), LaRue Tactical Sling ($69.95), Aimpoint Red Dot M4S ($756.00), LaRue Forward Grip ($107.00).

And don't forget plenty of decent range ammo. 1,000 rds. of Lake City XM855 ($400.00).

I've described the rifle at the bottom of my picture, the only difference is the top Colt has an Aimpoint Micro T1 ($650.00) so it's a bit less expensive.
