IMHO, I'd rather have one $600 gun than 6 $100 guns. In the long run with a $50 transfer per gun, you'd have $900 invested in 6 POS guns, that are still maybe worth $600. Odds are they won't be

One nice $600 gun would be $650 and has a chance to appreciate in value or be a legitimate shooter. Me, I'd eat the other 5 permits and get something decent.
