I have the opposite experience with the PX-4 Storm 40SW I have - reliable and controllable, but mot very accurate with factory ammo, probably due to the .402 sized factory barrel. I run cast bullets through it sized to .404 and get groups like this,

Factory ammo sized at .400 doesn't work quite as well...

Couple in Beretta's horrible customer service, and I'd say go with the HK.
