I have loaded the 25-06 for over 30 someodd years and have never found the need for magnum primers. For years I used strictly H-4831 (the original surplus stuff) for everything from 87 grain to 120 grain with plenty of success.............maybe it is that I was just lucky and got a good rifle but all the reasonable loads shoot well less than 1". Now I use H-414 for 75 and 87 grain loads and H-870 for 120 grain loads (I don't load 100 grain), and the results are still fine.
