There is no NJ waiting period. Prior to all this mess when sales were normal I could go into any NJ store and walk out within a few minutes with a pistol (provided I had other permits) or a long gun.
I posted this because I was curious about wait times in other areas. How is NICS run? Is it a National check done by state employees? LGS (several of them in NJ) says that NICS wont even take a phone call currently. They are asking that all apps be faxed in.
