The purpose of the extractor is to hold the round on the bolt face so it can be loaded into the chamber. You don't won't it wobbling around on you. When you will have trouble is on ejection if the hook is digging into the brass. I didn't mention it, but check your brass and see if there are any shiny scratches or guoges on the side where the hook is digging into it. This would be a tell tale sign.
