My first 44 mag was a Super Commanche. I sold it to buy a SRH. Ironically the first range session with the Ruger and it had to go back for repair. I put about 2k full on 44's though the Llama. I got rid of it because I discovered a void that started to open up on the frame near the rear sight. It kind of scared me about the long term durablity of something like that being fired near my face. The thing I really liked was the chrome hammer and trigger. Would I spend 200 on one? probably. But I would look around and try to find a Dan Wesson for 300 first. Although if someone waived one in front of me for 175 I would probably have to get my wallet out.

Also, the current Commanche revlovers are not even close to the quality of the older blue Llamas I would not give you 50 bucks for one of the new SS 357's.
