Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier. It really belongs in Handloding & Reloading, and you stand a chance of getting wider input here anyhow.

While you CAN get away with using lighter .38 spl bullets for loading 9mm, the concerns about risk of excessive pressures are indeed valid. If you have a .38 spl or .357, you might as well save these bullets for use in one of those. If you don't, you would probably be better off swapping them for some 9mm bullets.

I'd offer to do a trade with you if we were close neighbors. Shipping charges would be prohibitive, though.
