Thanks for all the replies. A lot of guys I work with have been really urging me to get a VX-2. I guess if I'm going to be spending $300 I might as well save a little more and buy a scope I really want, not just one I can afford. At first I did want a VX-2 or VX-3 but I talked myself out of it because of price. After reading reviews on the VX-2, I believe I'm sold on them. Probably a nice
4-12x40.
