Take it a step further and buy another manual to see what it says.

Visit a couple sites like Load Your Own

And/or, go with the book with the lastest copyright.

To be safer, I'd just go with VV. In my experience, Speer is always a little higher than anyone else. I suspect they do not test with any pistols at all.
That's why I prefer books with not only loads, but opinions on certain loads in different guns, from experiences they've had.
