Well, since your still shopping...Look closely at the Smith and Wesson M&P Series.
I own 2, a full size 9 and a compact .45. My full size 9mm has over 15,000 rounds through it. No malfunctions, accurate, adjustable backstraps, 17+1 capacity.
It's at least worth a look.
