I used a flat bladed screwdriver inserted into the slot in the front of the ram where the primer toggle would go, and it rotated readily with very little force. I'm glad I tuned in and viewed that little video. I didn't even know that the ram rotated like that, and I've had that press probably 10 years or more.
I just fixed an annoying problem.

The screwdriver idea worked perfectly! Can't believe I never thought of just getting some leverage!
