Hi, guys,

Dfariswheel, I think you are holding the gun upside down to work on it, like many people do. But to avoid confusion, when the gun is held normally, the spring is on the top of the ejector and is pushed down to get it out of the groove in the frame so the ejector can be removed. BTW, the ejector also acts as the slide stop, which is why it needs a spring in the first place.
