Slug the bore and check the diameter of the chamber mouths before you get
too far into the reloading process.
38 S&W is a larger diameter than 38 LC, both in case diameter and
bullet diameter. If it's marked for both, the bore may be .360+, and
38 LC cases may bulge a bit when fired.
