1960's 16 deaths from school shootings (single incident)
1970's 16 deaths from school shootings (7 incidents)
1980's 14 deaths from school shootings (9 incidents, 6 deaths in 1989)

1988 Prozac released despite 27 deaths during clinical trials

1990's 67 deaths from school shootings (29 incidents)
2000's 103 deaths from school shootings (37 incidents)
2010's 61 deaths from school shootings (21 incidents) to date

1994-2004 64 deaths from school shootings (25 incidents) assualt weapons ban period

Not saying Prozac was the cause, however the timing is interesting and something changed at the end of the 80's or early 90's. sure would be interesting to see how many of these shooters were on some form of prescription drug, be it Prozac or some other anti depressant. I am not a believer in coincidents.
