The die will seat and roll crimp at the same time. Brass must be all the same length or a bulge in the neck or shoulder will form, if over done. Bullet needs a cannelure. RCBS die has a crimper. You Lee die does not. A crimp is not needed with correct neck tension. But a crimp may help keep the bullet from being set back on loading in an auto if bullet hits the feed ramp. Plus it may help keeps the bullet from moving forward in an auto on chambering. Neck tension is still #1
