There's been a whole lot of talk about LEOs of all stripes (as it were) and their potential role in the near future in regards to the 2A. Based on something I saw on FB, I went on the hunt to discover the National FOP's position. It supports expanding background checks:

Somehow, Chuck Canterbury, National President of the FOP, has rationalized that it is possible for the FOP to:
- Support the 2A rights of law-abiding citizens;
- Support expanding background checks;
- Support increasing and expanding the NICS system;
- Support increased funding ("reinvigoration") of the BATFE.
It's like playing, "Which one doesn't belong?"
