I've done the 1911 thing but I have to say that, for me, nothing beats the feel of a CZ. I had a Compact 75 and it fit my hand perfectly. Alas, IMO, it's slightly too large for AIWB carry, so it got traded away and I purchased my present carry piece, the CZ 2075 Rami alloy 9. Bingo, also perfect feel but ideal for AIWB and any other method. Best all round gun I've had over the years and at last count I think I've had 26 just in the last 5 years.
