Thanks for the information on the K plus four digits. I had always been told it was pre-WWII. Pre K? But what is the model of this revolver? Could it possibly be a Prewar K-22 Combat Master Piece. Note the shape of the grip. It looks more like that than the Model 17 (K-22) introduced in 1946.
