I run an older M1. I found years ago that it shot buck and slugs best with a modified tube in it.

I think “Flight control” buck patterns TOO tight. I want some pellet spread at closer ranges. Let the shotgun do what a shotgun does. Inside of 20 or so yards that spread allow you to shoot fast and let the pattern work for you. Flight control is still basically a slug at 10yds and smaller then a fist at 20.

I dont care about buckshot patterns at 50, or 100. Its slug time at those distances (or Rifle time)
