My Japanese BL-22's serial number is:

1.) Not where the manual says it should be (it's on the bottom front of the receiver, not "right side of receiver on the front").

2.) Not in any format found on the Browning site (Format is 71B60xxx which is backward from that described on the website).

Any place else I can look?
