Why would they not be OK?

In my opinion, reloads are practically required for range ammo.

Best thing is to use a copper plated lead bullet (much less expensive than jacketed, but can be pushed faster than lead and don't lead up your barrel) the same weight as your carry ammo and load them up to the same point of impact as your carry ammo.

Of course, $30 for 100 rounds Venom1956 found is hard to pass up. When I found Remington UMC on sale a couple years ago, I bout 1500 rounds (all I could afford) and have been re-using the brass ever since. But the price I got for the loaded rounds was less than I could buy the components for elsewhere.
