Same tradition with mine, a codicil in our family is if you wish to own and run the farm you have to of served in some branch of the military. This has been going on since the War of Northern Aggression.
We have no children so for the first time the farm will have a Mistress as owner when I retire, My niece, USAF 1998 - 2002
