Power is not the deciding factor when spotting .22 holes at 100 yards. It takes high quality resolution and precise parallax adjustment. Any of the high quality scope manufactures' 4X12 with an adjustable objective should work. If you are shooting competition a scope power of 20X or higher would be a good choice.
