Star BM?

The Spanish Star BM is a kinda-sorta short and skinny distant cousin that, at first glance, resembles a 1911, but w/o a grip safety.

Its an all steel 9X19 that just happens to be skinny, reliable, inexpensive, and discontinued.

It isn't perfect, but well worth the cost. If you get one, resist the temptation to detail strip. Itty bitty parts are easily lost, difficult to find, and more difficult to replace.

Mine cost less than 200, looks like it came out of an aggretate mixer, is pie plate accurate at 25 yds, and has proved to be omniverious. That isn't awful.


Finding leather for it is.
