So, if I'm clear, I could buy a .308 bolt action rifle and the HK G3 and the FN FAL, which are both great rifles, will also take the .308.

I'm trying to minimize the different types of ammo to buy, use the .308 due to surplus and reduced cost of buying in bult to feed two rifles, with the ability to find excellent bolt actions AND military style rifles that eat the same lead. Thanks.
