If you are looking for a 9mm in a very small, but usuable package, the Kahr PM9 is hard to beat. I used to carry a Glock 26, the Kahr is quite a bit slimmer and smaller overall. You give up 4 rounds of mag capacity, but I can pocket carry all day and it doesn't bother me at all. As mentioned, they are a bit pricey, especially the ones with the black coated slides and night sights.
