Yeap, it is still a big issue in certain parts of the south. I hunted Georgia back in the 90's and it felt strange deer hunting on Sunday. I got use to it and saw it as another good day in the woods. Hey people fish on Sunday and hike, so what’s the deal. North Carolina recently legalized bow hunting on Sundays. Well that is ok, but at this time I don't even bow hunt, my loss I guess. I wished they would go ahead and make it legal for gun hunting on Sundays. Put certain limitations on discharging firearms within a certain distance of a church. The deer population will sustain it with no problem.
