What you said suggested that the Creedmore didn't shoot a bullet fast enough to need a Partition. By that, you probably mean that there's no reason to worry about a cup and core bullet blowing up, which negates the 'need' for a partition. Personally, I probably wouldn't feel the need to use a Partition in that round (or in my 260) unless I was worried about penetration in whatever large creature I was intending to hunt. But, I'd sure use a Partition in the Creedmore if I was elk hunting, or maybe I'd use an Accubond. Anyway...there's no reason to avoid a Partition.
