Very happy with my SR9. Like you, I thought it was very ergonomic, slim, and well balanced when I picked it up in the gun store.
17+1, manual safety, magazine disconnect easily removable, adjustable back strap, sights adjustable for windage and elevation, visual and tactical loaded chamber indicator, same trigger pull every shot, American made, reasonably priced.
