Heritage Rough Rider Chronograph Report

Conducted a chronograph program, this program used the Heritage Rough Rider .22lr with a 6 1/2-inch barrel as the test gun. The chronograph was set on a 3-foot table and 10-feet from the shooting station. The following cartridges was selected for the test:

Blazer: 22lr, 40 grain, Lead Round Nose, 1235/108 Lot# 00021 (CCI)
1. 1016….2. 1009
3. 1013….4. 1021
5. 1041….6. 1016

Average Velocity: 1019.3

Federal: 22lr, 36 grain, copper plated HP, 1260/125 #1GT749
1. 1022……2.1013
3. 1032……4. 1030
5. 1035……6. 1072

Average Velocity: 1034

Remington: 22lr, 36 grain, Brass-Plated Hollow Points 1280/131 #1622C
1. 1135……2. 1037
3. 1031……4. 1041
5. 1094……6. 1015

Average Velocity: 1059

The time was 10:30 AM, sunshine, clear sky, wind at 0-5 mph, temperature at 72 degrees.
