Plain old CLAYS

This has been a peeve of mine for years.
I don't know what Hodgdon had in mind when they named two of their powders:
CLAYS
and
UNIVERSAL CLAYS

I believe they also have something called International CLAYS

It caused me and apparently others
no end of confusiohn till we learned to intrerpret the "code"

Considering the danger if you confuse one with the other
I can't believe that the same Layers that convinced them to
"Wimp" down their published data, haven't got them to do something about this - there can't be THAT much in "Branding"

I USE CLAYS quite extensively and have adopted the custom of calling it:
"Plain old CLAYS" ( instead of "CLAYS) when posting.

I think the forums would become safer if eveyone did.
