I have been thinking about buying one of the S&W's myself. An old Army buddy of mine bought one and it worked quite well the one time we took it out.

All of the various "AR like" .22's really make less sense to me now though since you can buy a CMMG complete upper for $304. Then you don't even have to argue about "how true is it to the real AR-15" or anything of the sort. Slap that .22 LR upper on your best AR lower and you are off to the races.
