Never said that. I simply said that to legally carry on the street you need a license. Yes the license does give you a right to carry as opposed to not having a license. If you carry anyway without a license it certainly makes it more complicated if you use your un-licensed carry firearm to defend yourself. The results are too complicated for me, but having the license is the best way to go. That is also what we were taught in class about SC law. That's the best and most simple I can say.

My final (I think) is why break the law and take the chance that it will not have a negative effect on your rights...makes no sense to me.
