I don't think Castle Law is on the books in the majority of states, at least not as part of the CCW license law. I don't think common law substitutes for the type of strong Castle Law we are talking about.

Yes, that's pretty much the universal test for applying deadly force. I don't think Castle Law was intended to change that situation. Also, if you have a CCW it applies to your vehicle and even when out on public streets...at least in our state.
