I'm not a S&W expert, but I think the .45 acp revolvers would be the Models 1917 (blue military model) and 625 (stainless w/adjustable sights). I've seen 4" and 5" 625s.

Other classics? Colt SAA, Python and Diamondback, Freedom Arms 97 small frame (I know they're not old, but it's still a classic design IMO), S&W 5" model 10, 6" model 14 (target .38)....
