yogi: ARF prefix would be late 1984
Mike: I'd like to be able to help you, but I'm confused. SCSW lists only the use of all numbers for autos up to 1970, then a single letter "A" prefix to March 1984, then changing to a three-letter prefix beginning with "T". There's no mention of any autos having a three-letter "B" prefix. In revolvers, a BDJ prefix would indicate 1989, but the Mod 4586 was made between 1991 and 1999. So, I'm stumped - maybe Jim or someone else can figure it out.
