Taurus gets my vote for a low budget semi auto. I had a two-tone 24/7 45 ACP that was a pleasure to shoot. It was very accurate and no failures of any kind in about 300 rds. but I sold it and purchased a Springfield XDM 45. I guess I got caught up in reading all of the negative reviews of Taurus and caved in to get a more high quality 45.
