Walked into the local Gander Mountan Gunstore here yesterday hoping to pick up a rear sight for an AR, and was VERY surprised to see a complete selection of AR's at more or less normal prices. A reasonable selection of manufacturers and options, as well.

Stripped lowers will take more time to come down in price, I think, as the ease of hoarding and storing them, and the lower "investment" price as compared to a complete rifle is less, making them a more attractive item for stockpiling. When they fall back to sub-$100 prices and .22 ammo is on the shelf, we will know that the great gun panic of 2013 is over at last.

The money supply able to be applied toward buying everything built is not infinate, and the market will correct itself. There are only so many spare $1500 dollar bills in the hands of the shooters.
