Its a personal decision...how many rounds / and what kind of weapon to carry...
What works for me ( a K frame S&W with 6 rds /or a 1911 with 8 + 1 rds ) may not work for you.
I carry the gun I shoot the best ...
so yes, 8 rds is more than enough for me.
