I attended the very first "Rifleman's Boot Camp" at the RWVA Range and had a ball. A lot of instruction, a lot of shooting and a lot of history.
My shooting improved a lot, found out my rifle would work all week long firing about 1500 rds. It was a Fed. Ord M14A and only cleaned one time during the week and that was after getting wet one day.

I camped on the range for ten days and loved it. Came to know some of the best people on the Planet both Instructors and Shooters.

If you do attend a Boot Camp, be sure and camp on the range. Some of the best times were at night sitting around with the other guys. We did have one lady for part of the week but she and her hubby didn't camp out.

I was 69 yrs. old at the time and it really got to me as I was sore, stiff and tired from the very first day. It took me a week at home to get over it.

I did get my Rifleman's Badge tho.
