Ask the Maquis and other Resistance fighters tortured to death by the Nazi's, French 2nd Armoured Div who served with the U.S. Third Army, the WHOLE generation killed in W.W. I, the 9,000 troopies in the Force d’Action Rapide(Gulf War), the French Special Forces who served in Afghanistan, etc, etc.
