Personally 200 rounds without a hickup is fine with me..but I only carry guns with good track records.

500, or 200, is way better than what the OP mentioned as his enlightenment.
And nothing makes me feel like my pistol has a good track record like a bunch of ammo down the tube.....Say, maybe 500.
