The Encore is heavy for a muzzle loader. Probably the heaviest production inline, although I have not done a real comparison. I have a buddy with one and it also seems to be front heavy. Used barrels are available relatively cheaply, but I have opted to keep my thunderhawk as it handles much better for me.
