Prior to retirement dental equipment was my gig. Dental operating microscopes were always a challenge to mount to a wall or ceiling. A solid mount is critical, as magnification goes up. Those dental scopes were only 10-12 X maximum magnification and mounting was a huge issue. Spotters routinely go up to 60 X mag.
