I went with the 45 and also bought it for HD.
I increased my mags to 10+1.
I plink at 50 yards which is still fun as heck with a red dot.
I also added a lasermax grip so aiming it is about as good as it gets.
While many tout the .223 for HD due to penetration, my priority was the noise factor.
I can't imagine discharging an AR inside my home nor can I imagine I would have time to put on hearing protection during a break in.
So, the 45 CX4 was the perfect choice to justify a suppressor.
Just got this myself a few weeks ago and just entering the reloading aspect of this. I am looking now at possible loads and finding the right load for the cx4 is hopefully going to be a fun experiment this Spring.
