I've been buying Ultramax 200-grain LSWC in .45 ACP for use as a test load when evaluating 1911s for feeding different ammo types, as well as for accuracy with different ammo types and brands. I don't shoot a lot of it, but I usually shoot a few mags of it through each pistol I test. I've never experienced any problems with it (other than the occasional pistol that flat-out won't feed it).
With the current ammo shortage I can't buy it, so it looks like I'm going to have to reload my own LSWC (except I'mm use plated bullets). That's going to require resetting my dies, which I'd be happy not to have to do, so if the Ultramax becomes available (and affordable) again, I'll keep on buying it.
