Does anyone else harbor a distaste for battery dependent optics?
I find a small and light 2.5x shotgun scope pretty comfortable.
On a .22, I have an old Weaver red dot sight that gathers light from a fiber optic rod and projects a translucent red dot that I would guess to be about 10MOA on to the target. It did not cost $1000 (more like $30) is light and works well so long as one is not shooting from darkness into light.
I cannot find anything like it in the current market.
