I don't do the bumper to bumper thing. It's called lane splitting. I just got back from Yosemite Natl Park at 80 mph.

Sounds like you were always following the crowd. I usually am going the other way. On a wide open road.

Yes, there are definitely two Californias side by side. Or all rolled into one. Sort of like 'parallel universes'.
(Actually 3, don't forget Baja California, which is also two parts. We are in Alta California)
