Sig SHR-970 Black Synthetics

I love shooting my .30-'06. It likes Core-Loks just fine. 150, 165 & 180 grn.
I also have a "new to me" SHR-970 in .270 Winchester, that I picked up at a gunshow not too far away. The price was right and it's in "just barely used condition". Unfortunately no box, paperwork or take-down wrench, but it's in the corral.

My hunting rifle is topped with a nice Zeiss Conquest 3-9x50mm in Leupold Rings. I have taken off the Warne and S and K rings that came off of my rifles (to get to spare barrels, I bought a few other rifles and then sold just the actions). I didn't really like the 30mm optics that came on one of the rifles though.

I also keep .300 Win Mag Ammo, SHR-970 Brl, Bolt and Mags for it. Never can tell when I'll get drawn for a Moose Hunt. I know, the .30-'06 round is plenty for moose too, but it's a good excuse not to have to shoot my .375 H&H.

My buddy also found a Sig STR-970 Rifle for sale in Kentucky and bought it "for a song" - gun shop didn't know what they had - it just drives tacks with Winchester Supreme's in 168 grn (I think that's his exclusive round).
Enjoy the rifle and calibers! Joe's Pawn in Alabama always seems to have spare magazines for sale on GB, or you can call them direct.
